Open your eSIM’s page from your order link, its private link or your account. The bar shows:
- On your eSIM: data you can use now.
- Not opened yet: the rest of your plan, added by itself before you run out. You see this only on plans that come in portions.
- Used: what’s gone.
Once you’ve used some data, the page also says how long the rest lasts at your pace.
If your phone shows more used
The page can be a few hours behind. Under the figure, it says when it last changed. Your phone’s own counter is closer to live: Settings › Mobile Service on iPhone, Settings › Network & internet on Android.
Running low
When little is left, the page says so and offers a top-up. If we have your email, we also email you when an eSIM runs low and the day before its plan ends. Signed in, you can let it top up by itself.
Sharing your data with a hotspot
Hotspot is allowed on every plan. Your laptop or a friend’s phone uses your eSIM’s data, so it counts toward your plan.
- iPhone:
Settings › Personal Hotspot, then turn on Allow Others to Join. - Android:
Settings › Network & internet › Hotspot & tethering › Wi-Fi hotspot. On Samsung:Settings › Connections › Mobile Hotspot and Tethering.
The esimjia line has to be your line for mobile data.
