An eSIM in your account can top itself up from your esimjia balance. There are two ways, and you can use both. Find them on the eSIM’s page under Automatic top-ups.
Refill when it runs low
- Sign in and open the eSIM from your account.
- Open Automatic top-ups.
- Under Refill when it runs low, pick the top-up to add, and when: less than 500 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB or 5 GB left.
- Tap Turn on automatic refill.
It also refills early if, at your pace, your data would run out within a day. Data not opened yet counts as data left.
Renew every month
Under Renew every month, tap Turn on renewal. A day before the eSIM ends, it buys the same size again from your balance, and the 30 days start again. If an eSIM can’t renew, its page says why.
Paying for it
Automatic top-ups are paid in full from your balance. If the balance is too low, nothing is bought and we email you. We try again while there’s still time. To add money, tap Add funds in your account and pay by bank transfer or crypto.
What it needs
- An account. Bought as a guest? Add the order to an account first.
- An eSIM that can take data. The same rules as top-ups: installed, and before it ends.
